Kleindienst Group and RAK Ports have entered into an agreement to develop worlds 1st underwater living experience in Ras Al Khaimah. The Heart of Europe’s famed sea house villas are now coming to Ras Al Khaimah. A total of 133 such villas are part of the latest phase of the project of which 70 are located off the coast of Dubai and 63 will soon be built in RAK Free Zone. While the original seahorses were priced from 88M in Dubai, the rate for RAK pods will be decided once an escrow account is launched.
The RAK floating villas will have a coral garden attached on two sides of each unit, wherein the balcony will have exciting views of corals and fishes instead of flowers.
This development in Ras Al Khaimah will be a beautiful amalgamation of a maritime facility as well as an underwater living experience. A shipyard will be built that shall comprise of four sections-
- Viking Section: It will include the design and construction of a 144-meter giga- yacht, placing UAE one amongst the few in the world capable of constructing giga-yachts. Netherlands Germany and Italy are countries who have been able to construct these till date. It is worth noting that currently giga yachts are more sustainable than small boats, also there are less than 100 giga-yachts across the entire world.
- Coral Garden Section: This will be the second part of the shipyard which shall focus on the construction of The Heart of Europe’s first-of-its-kind underwater living experience in the form of the Floating Seahorse Villas, the Floating Venice resort, the Floating Lido hotel and floating solar systems.
- Tug Section: This will be the third section and will handle the construction of barges, supply and transportation vessels.
- Ferry Section: The fourth and the final section of the shipyard will be dedicated to passenger transportation, fishing, diving and sailing boats. The initial overall scope of work planned includes approximately 200 boats.
The shipyard will also host a maritime academy.
