Mr. Ayman Shouman originally hails from Egypt and started his professional journey in UAE in the year 1997, he further says “I have seen the country grow leaps and bounds over these years. The country has adopted technology wisely to equip people working here to create Brand Dubai across various sectors. The welcoming work environment and the feeling of equality amongst expats of various nationalities has definitely added brand value to this country. It is a country where people feel safe, secure and the government here is keen towards motivating the people to contribute towards the progress of the country. Introduction of Golden Visa is of the examples that proves that government here is keen on incubating talent or the entrepreneurs who can help shape the country to greater heights. When the world was hit with Covid in different parities, UAE was the first country to seamlessly revive back to normal life which then gave me the opportunity to start my entrepreneurial journey in Real Estate sector in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK). This Northern Emirate (RAK) currently, is what Dubai was 10 years ago and has immense potential to emerge as New York City by 2050.”
Boni Nyaga, Founder CEO Mawaitha Africa, also the moderator of this webinar adds that there are lot of entrepreneurs in Africa who have the potential to expand in Dubai and UAE but don’t see themselves as capable to step up here. The idea of this summit is to inspire and motivate these talents to take a plunge and expand themselves globally in their best capacities.
Ashley Quality-Founder CEO Ashley Tours and Travel, Christy Garba-Head Baker- Christy’s Bakery and Events, Henri Okode-Founder and CEO Squaddy HR, Jeff Yuvinallis-Founder and CEO Yuvinallis Tourism LLC further shared their success stories of how they really are “Making It In Dubai!” Mutually all African leaders summarized the need for African entrepreneurs to explore partnerships and opportunities in the UAE, leveraging its unique position as a gateway to the Middle East and beyond.

Overall, the African/UAE Summit aims to inspire African Business leaders to change their perspective of Dubai and UAE as not just a luxury vacation destination but as a country with a wealth of economic potential.
